劇中敘述1979年的暑假，女主角孟娟（陳妤飾演）邀請大學同學書蘭（劉倩妏飾演）到家中的香蕉園幫忙採收。兩人偷偷發展出一段曖昧的情誼，還結伴到美麗島雜誌社為自由人權發聲，眼看彼此找到心之所向，卻渾然不覺踏入白色恐怖的風暴中。。“Escort Boys” is loosely based on the Israeli series “Johnny and the Knights of the Galilee,” produced by YES Studios, and by created by Dani Rosenberg and Tom Shoval. It follows four young men, driven by their respective troubles and torment, who decide to sell their bodies for sex.。
