1927年的上海笼罩在白色恐怖之中，中共党员剑华被敌人杀害当天，他的儿子出生了。地下党负责人将其妻闵雯转移至苏区，其子托给工人顾阿根收养，起名小亮。几经波折，小亮被一官家收养。10岁那年，小亮得知自己身世，逃往上海寻找母亲。闵雯正巧也去苏北接小亮，可小亮已经不在那了。小亮流浪在街头被顾阿根找到，便带着他随难民奔向武汉，中途被炸，小亮在一伤兵帮助下到了武汉，并成为一名小八路。闵雯见到小亮，却在特殊身份不能相认。直到他们都来到延安，小亮才终于见到了日夜思念的妈妈。。故事描述西班牙内战后被放逐的游击队首领，在二十年后终于让故国的警长利用其孝心诱骗回国加以围杀。。During the cold and rainy off-season a man arrives in a seaside town and, giving his name only as Pierre, checks into the only hotel which remains open. His arrival arouses curiosity and a degree of suspicion, as people note that he appears to know the area, yet gives no explanation for his presence at that bleak time of year in the dead-end town.。
